Well some good news, Shanghai will slowly reduce its' lockdown measures, so the episodes will go back to normal soon hopefully, and while Tunshi Xingkong (Swallowed Star)'s official weibo hasnt made any announcement, it would more than likely be released in a few weeks time, since both are from the same studio.

vio • 1 year ago

Hopefully, I would hate to see Swallowed Star delayed by a few months because of the timing and release another donghua during the mean time similar to what happened to kingdom.

Dase • 1 year ago

Yeah, can see other donghua like Wanmei Shijie being slightly affected, they reduced the amount of time by a few minutes, no one noticed :) its' studio is also based in Shanghai. But yeah hopefully things goes well in Shanghai, so I am staying positive for the moment :)

Not sure whether Bibi Dong's voice changed because of her transformation or it is due to working remotely from home, it is still the same voice actress, many Chinese viewers picked up the differences and hope she isnt sick.

vio • 1 year ago

I didnt even notice the timing change because every time I watch one I enjoy watching, I always think its to short and needs more but never complain about it. lol

As for the voice actress, I didnt notice the change but I was disappointed that Er Ming and Da Ming only managed to kill one of the douluo's.

Dase • 1 year ago

Ahh they made changes from the novel, they didnt kill anyone at all in the novel lol it was Tang San that killed the first douluo in the group, Ghost Douluo

Edit: Youtube Addict informed me that one was killed in the novel, so I missed it and I forgotten about it, been a while since I last read the novel

vio • 1 year ago

They should have the song 'another one bites the dust' playing every time one of them is killed :P

Youtube Addict • 1 year ago

Hahaha.. I was punching the air when she died. So satisfying. But the donghua made all the titled Douluos way too young. That girl looks almost the same age as TS while TH was made to look like a drunk old beggar.

vio • 1 year ago

I dunno, I've seen some Chinese, Japanese and Italian women who look really good for their age without the war paint on.

OfficialDrixMalone • 1 year ago

Why did you add "Italian" women in that comment, just curious since they have nothing to do with asians??

Or are you just saying in general Chinese, Japanese and Italian women age well??

vio • 1 year ago

I'm just saying in general they age well like a fine wine.

Wolf And....Run!!!!!!!!!! • 2 months ago

i mean, didnt gang or someone insult bibi dong or someone from the martial hall for looking great despite their age, thanks to the martial halls "anti aging" serum, which would make sense as it has been explained that the younger you are the easier it is to cultivate previously.

tl;dr smol peepee (bibi dong) is capitalizing the cure for cancer

šŸ¤£šŸ¤£

Youtube Addict • 1 year ago

They did. Iā€™m the novel it says during their half month of struggle they killed one of them but here in the donghua they just postpone the death scene to heighten the suspense while TS tries to catch up.

Dase • 1 year ago

Ahh I must have missed it, was reading chapter 263

Alexander Kaizer7 • 1 year ago

They sure killed one but it was not depecited who. Just that they killed was mentioned in a line. Before Tang san arrived.

Fallen@ngel • 1 year ago

Ths site definitely needs to put a category for donghuas. There are so many of them on this site that I tend to miss some.

Yea I noticed when watching the previous episode, just didn't comment on it 24 or 26 mins length now dropped to 21 mins a 3 mins difference now.

Good to hear

OfficialDrixMalone • 1 year ago

I'm so pissed how badly they treated DaMing & ErMing making them suffer, but next episode seems like they'll be able to get some serious payback!! I'm hoping they either survive and can recover or at least know that TS saved them and gave them the last moments of their life to share it with their bunny girl. Especially if they know he'll take care of her and they don't have to worry about her well being anymore, being able to die in peace. F*ck, this episode had me super anxious and nervous with my mind doing mental jumping jacks aha. Irritated that TS was taking so damn long to get their, whole episode of him Tarzaning through trees/forest but didn't seem like he was anymore closer than before smh. WTF was he taking so long, can't his dumba$$ FLY, so why in the heck was he wasting time jumping and runningšŸ¤¦šŸ¾ā€ā™‚ļøšŸ¤¬šŸ˜¤?!

I love to hear their atrocious cries, it's music to my ears, knowing that it means they're dying an agonizing death from all the pain TS is inflicting upon them or severally hurt or witnessed one of them die againšŸ˜ˆ!! Especially that little sissy boy, his brother or partner must've died, which makes me feel WONDERFULšŸ˜, it'd bring me so much more joy if he experienced his demise nextšŸ¤—!! But I won't get too confident, unlike them who were being so arrogant. I'm betting that fight will be GLORIOUS though, even if it's short, it'll be sweet. How stupid of them though, they all signed their death certificate, either soon or later, they'll all become nutrients for the soil and food for the plants and insects. Not before they all suffer first, then, they can have their dance with death.

Dase • 1 year ago

This is why there were many people who had a "what the?" moment in regards to the ending. as you can see the deeds that Bibi Dong and the Martial Soul Hall does throughout the entire donghua, the ending somehow was a massive turnaround
I remember someone once posted a comment that "we" didnt know Bibi Dong's circumstances and were too quick to judge her and the same person posted that they felt Martial Soul Hall didnt do anything wrong, and the Shrek Seven and all their friends werent all that righteous. I often say people have a right to their opinions and comments, even when they are wrong and twisted and in the minority.
Just bring lot's of tissues for the next episode. but things will get more interesting after
revival of Xiao Wu and his mother
returning to Clear Sky Sect with his parents
beating the crap out of the elders
returning to the war
etc

Aw man I really hope Bibi don't get their soul rings, and TS get the rings in honor of him being deemed worthy of them, and the sole protector for Xu, or he save them before she can kill them.

Dase • 1 year ago

Da Ming and Er Ming sacrifices themselves to Tang San, Da Ming becomes the ninth ring on his Blue Silver spirit and Er Ming becomes his first Clear Sky Hammer ring and no he isnt her protector, just a carrier :P

So he not nothing to her, but her hand bag XD.

Dase • 1 year ago

That's the going joke on Chinese forums lol

Youtube Addict • 1 year ago

Whatā€™s the joke? Iā€™m curious, havenā€™t been there for a long while.

Dase • 1 year ago

That she is just the baggage or pouch being carried around by Tang San lol So it is ironic that Tang San asks her to get into the pouch lol

Youtube Addict • 1 year ago

They only realised it now? Wait which forum did you go to? I usually go to the DD Weibo Supertopic and there XW fangirls are shamelessly dominating. I stopped going there because every week they would scream for more XWā€™s scenes and 9 out of 10 posts are screenshots of her. Even on the main DD Weibo page, many critics of XW have been silenced. Some time back, there were people who discussed plots there just like us here but due to their unfavourable tone against XW, they were reported by those bunny lovers. šŸ™„ Some neutral critics even said, nowadays thereā€™s no longer any healthy plot discussions, instead it has become the bunny haven.

Dase • 1 year ago

lol nah they have been saying that for ages, sites I go to are Sohu, 163, and douban to read up on the latest gossip lol On occasion I go to their weibo, but like you said the Xiao Wu fans have the loudest voice lol so I avoid them, even their streaming site is the same. I was once invited to a private mass WeChat but I left cause I didnt want to read 20 posts per second lol

We are relatively tame here, though we voice our opinions, we dont shout people down for having different opinions lol well apart from some non regulars....

Youtube Addict • 1 year ago

Sigh I feel sad for those bunny lovers especially the males who ā€œpretendā€ to be fangirls! LOL!!

Btw, do you need to download the Sohu app? How do you search? Iā€™ve been downloading all kinds of Chinese apps and apart from WeChat that provides translation service, the rest donā€™t. So I ended up using mainly my Chrome browser.

Dase • 1 year ago

lol

Not for sohu, you can go to sohu com and then do a search for the topic, it is more of a news with commentary at the bottom, I remember there were links on sohu that goes to a forum but that one you needed to register to be able to read certain things

vio • 1 year ago

if you'll excuse the crudeness of this comment and see the funny side...

in some parts of the world a women's chest is referred to as fun bags... so his basically got a 3 for 1 deal going on there then :P

Dase • 1 year ago

lol

Well Xiao Wu kicks are more powerful than mine :P so Tang San might need to becareful where he places his hands :P

vio • 1 year ago

lol I doubt he'll suffer from split egg syndrome but it would be funny if she did it once when he got to handsy.

OfficialDrixMalone • 1 year ago

I doubt she'd kick him, more likely would blush and like it. I thought they already took each others virginity?? Or was it just them sleeping in the same bed??

vio • 1 year ago

I dunno what was covered in the novel but in a previous episode they were enjoying each others company on the bed before they were interrupted by Oscar.

Dase • 1 year ago

The donghua follows the novel in that regards, Tang San doesnt sleep with her because he fears it will have an effect on Xiao Wu's soul and he is waiting until they get married, although.... Xiao Wu wanted him but he refused lol

vio • 1 year ago

That makes me wonder why was he worried about her soul? I know he saw that she had a different colour compared to humans but I thought that was shown after the episode with the both of them on the bed.

Dase • 1 year ago

It could be also that he didnt want to take advantage of her while she was in the current state, cant really remember since it's been a while I read the novel. But the author is quite a conservative prude lol

vio • 1 year ago

After scanning through the episodes to find that scene, it was episode 75/season 2 episode 49 where that scene happened which was after he saw the purple aura around her showing that she wasn't human. After watching it again, it looks more like one of those awkward moments in a relationship where they want to be intimate with each other but end up sharing a closeness with each other instead. Similar to when a woman wants to be with someone but is worried about taking that next step and ends up just wanting to be held by that person.

Dase • 1 year ago

Wow. I would have needed to go back home and scan through the episodes lol Yeah sometimes the next step might change the relationship into something that they are not ready for. But I think in the novel Xiao Wu was more adventurous than Tang San, as she was prepared, but Tang San wasnt, then again she is over 100,000 years old lol

Think there was another scene as well, when Xiao Wu turns into her human form and was in bed with Tang San, she was naked and it got Tang San's heart throbbing (she was wearing clothes in the donghua) but they were interrupted by either Oscar or Fatty. I think it was there where I read something that the emotional impact might affect her soul and he didnt want to take advantage of her while she was asleep and in that state lol

vio • 1 year ago

I remember that scene, it was the one where Xiao Wu was in rabbit form, stole that plant and ate it. Tang san went to sleep beside her rabbit form and woke up to her human form beside him. He was very excited to see her back even though her psyche was broken and fatty knocked on the door interrupting them. I can see how the emotional impact would affect her soul if he did take advantage of her and she would definitely crack his eggs once she had control of her body if he took her first time without allowing her to experience it too especially after all she sacrificed for him.

Dase • 1 year ago

lol yup

OfficialDrixMalone • 1 year ago

Ahaha, 3 for 1 deal you say huh, now that I think about it I never paid attention to hear "fun bags" at all, I don't even think she has any noticeable ones does she??

vio • 1 year ago

I was kind of pushing the limit with that comment which is why I tried to put it as politely as possible. There are several names for them and even I dont know them all and considering her body dynamic, they are noticeable enough.

Ash Ketchem: Is this the way to the Star Forrest Gym?

AzahRiah • 1 year ago

I literally had to pause it to see any spoilers in the comments because I just couldn't stand it if Bibidong got their rings I'm glad she doesn't get them but obviously sad they die. I don't know why I thought Da Ming was unbeatable like king of the beasts or something and no human could touch him.

Dase • 1 year ago

It was because of the dual fusion technique of the Ghost Douluo and Chrysanthemum Douluo, fusion techniques can exceed opponents that are higher level, with the exception of level 99 and 100. The duo was able to paralyse and slow them down so that the other douluos managed to injure them, it didnt help that they were also poisoned

bernd3 • 1 year ago

so they stopped shi tting their diapers and finally do their fck ing work after taking some holidays "cause covid might kill us, so we cant work and have to relax 24/7 at home"?

Dase • 1 year ago

I dont get where this anger is coming from. You know that the lockdown was forced on the people living in Shanghai right? People were being dragged out of their homes to be tested and or quarantined?

It isnt like the studio had a choice, and working from home is much harder since the studio had difficulty coordinating much of their work with other staff and not all staff have remote access or the software or hardware at home, this seriously impacted how they would work normally

Covid is nothing compared with the fact that people were actually starving to death since they were not allowed to go out to get food, in fact government workers installed steel bars on the ground floor windows of some buildings in order to prevent people from using their windows to get out. Yes food were being distributed but not everyone was able to obtain food, we are talking about the worlds most populated city in the world 24.89 million as of 2021 this isnt even including the surrounding cities that was forced into lockdown

An elderly were dragged out of her poor home in the middle of the night for testing, and another one woke up in a morgue about to be cremated because they thought he was dead.

LowJack187 • 1 year ago

China defaulted on debts and couldn't afford to pay anyone. So they covered it up with Covid that they released from the Wuhan lab.
